Dr. Marella graduated from Guntur Medical College, India, and completed the Urology residency at Maimonides Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY, in 2005. He worked in New Jersey until December 2021, operated in Hackensack university medical center and other local hospitals. He is known for his attention to detail, compassion, and stellar bedside manner.
Dr. Marella has excellent surgical skills in all complex urological cases including robotic and minimally invasive surgeries. Dr. Marella has extensive experience in performing Robotic surgeries for over 10 years, including Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Radical Prostatectomy, Partial Nephrectomy, Radical Nephrectomy, Pyeloplasty, Nephroureterectomy, Cystectomy and Ileal conduit.
Dr. Marella performs minimally invasive surgeries for various other conditions, including Enlarged prostate, Kidney and ureteral stones, Female Incontinence, etc. He also has experience in treating common Mens' Health issues, including Erectile dysfunction and Low Testosterone.
Dr.Marella, has a professional membership in the American Urological Association (AUA) and has also been certified by the American Board of Urology since 2005. He has privileges in local hospitals, including UF health The Villages hospital, UF health Leesburg hospital, and Advent Health Waterman hospital.

Meet
Emily Perry-Hartlein, APRN
Emily is originally from New York and was raised in New Jersey where her nursing career started as a diploma graduate registered
nurse in 1994. She has lived all over the United States and had various experiences in her nursing career including pharmacy technician, emergency
nursing, pediatrics, critical care transport, pre-hospital care, nursing education, family practice and urology.
Emily has over 30 years of experience in nursing also including being a flight nurse from 2005 to 2007, where she attained the advanced skills in pre-hospital care.
Emily has also served in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman and U.S. Army as a nurse.
She has taught nursing core and general education classes for both LPN and RN nursing students and served as the Nursing Program Director in a local private
college.
Emily earned my degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner/ARNP in 2014 and then became a Certified Urology Nurse Practitioner in 2017. Currently she is working on her Women's Health Nurse Practitioner licensure and will start the DNP program in the Fall 2023.
Emily has worked as an APRN in both a urology setting and an urgent care. In her free time, she enjoys being involved with her children, their activities and traveling with her husband and children.

Rosemary Gavan, APRN
With more than 40 years of experience, Rosemary Gavan is a true steward of the nursing profession.
Graduating from the University of Central Florida as a registered nurse in 1982 and completing her master's
degree as an advanced registered nurse practitioner in 1997 with highest honors from the University of Florida,
Mrs. Gavan provides quality care with exceptional bedside manner to all her patients.
In addition to her urology experience over the past 16 years, she worked in Internal Medicine providing direct
inpatient and outpatient care. She holds a national board certification with the American Nurses Credentialing
Center (ANCC), is a member of the Florida Nurses Association (FNA), a member of the American Urology Association
(AUA), and a member of the Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates (SUNA).
Rosemary is passionate in helping men and women improve their quality of life in a wide range of urologic conditions including, kidney stones, benign prostatic hypertrophy, overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction, hypogonadism, interstitial cystitis, and urinary tract infections.
In her spare time, you can find Rosemary enjoying a 45-year passion of playing tennis, pickleball, fishing the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
